The announcement took place in San Francisco at Intersolar North America, the premier platform for the solar industry.
A powerful energy harvester, SPARQ’s microinverter systems are 30 per cent more efficient than conventional string inverter technology, operating even under very low light conditions, or under partial shading or snow, turning on earlier in the morning and working later in the evening. And because SPARQ microinverters allow each PV panel to operate independently, they eliminate the “Christmas tree” effect of conventional string inverter systems, where the shading or failure of one unit affects nearby panels.
This makes the SPARQ microinverter uniquely suited to urban areas, where light conditions are highly variable
